ABOUT ENGLISH CLASS

A serious school with a human approach.

Founded in 2022, English Class is an offline school for adults in Tbilisi and Batumi. We believe that good English lessons should be structured and practical - but never feel like a lecture. Our students learn in small groups, speak from the start and build confidence step by step.

I built English Class with a clear vision: to create a modern, high-standard learning environment where students can become truly independent in English. With nearly 20 years of teaching experience, I personally oversee our methodology and believe that a great school should always keep growing. Outside work, I play four musical instruments, love strength training and challenging myself on hiking trails.

I’m a linguist and foreign language teacher. I studied English and German at Moscow State Linguistic University. I love theatre, dancing, travelling and, above all, books. I also write a blog about what I read. There’s never a question of whether I’ll read today — only which book to choose: something on psychology, science fiction or a classic novel.

My musical ear helps me hear the smallest nuances in English sounds and intonation, and I love helping my students develop that sensitivity. For me, English is not only about grammar — it’s about speaking naturally and confidently.

I’m fascinated by how languages, things and people work. That’s why I never stop reading the classics, can fix almost anything around the house, and I keep on learning new languages - from human to machine. I love English for its versatility and the new horizons it opens, Italian for its beauty, and Python for its logic. I’m proud of my CAE, but, as they say, there’s always room for improvement!
